Rider Publishing moves toward Digital Publishing

For Immediate Release...

June 11, 2010, Calaveras County, CA

Rider Publishing will continue bidding and producing glossy print magazines, but will devote more effort and resources to Digital Print Medium.

After extensive research in the Digital Print Medium, Publisher Rick Rider sees a growing trend in the way consumers are receiving rich media content.

"With the advent of new technologies such as the iPad by Apple and Kindle by Amazon, it is becoming quite obvious that although there is a place for nicely done printed magazines, digital capture content is the way of the future," says Rider, "and the cost of consumption makes reading and browsing these new digital media more viable every day."

Rider Publishing has published Sierra Golfer Magazine for over 2 years in both print and in Digital Formats.

"With print ad costs remaining relatively costly," Rider continues,"coupled with the inability to track ROI, or return on ad investment in print formats, digital printing makes a lot of sense in the new economy. Digital printing allows advertisers to track the effectiveness of their advertising investment, and that aspect is critical."
